Understanding the importance of a quality education, Carolyn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. During this time, her path for family law would begin as she participated in the program “Put Something Back.” This important program is unique in that it represents both men and women in domestic violence cases.
She went on to pursue higher education, earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. While working towards her Juris degree, Carolyn obtained the opportunity to participate in a civil internship. Continuing what would be her future practice - family law - Carolyn’s internship enabled her to represent indigent clients in divorce and domestic violence cases.
Carolyn’s professional career in family law began in 1987 when she was admitted to the Georgia Bar. After being admitted to the Georgia Bar, Carolyn shifted her focus to family law. In 1988 she was admitted to the State of Georgia Bar in the family law section. She has also completed the Florida Supreme Court course in family law mediation training. Today, Carolyn is also proud to be a member of the Florida Bar in the family law section.
Her practice is exclusive to the area of domestic relations and family law issues including: divorce, alimony, child support, custody, contempt, paternity and modifications.
