Our law firm specializes in the area of family law and is lead by our highly-respected family law attorney Carolyn Karettis. Through her education and background practicing family law, Carolyn has spearheaded our firm’s divorce team into what it is today: trusted and successful.
Prior to heading our family law firm practice, Carolyn was pursuing her education. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Later, she participated in the program “Put Something Back.” This inspiring and unique program represents men and women in domestic violence cases.
She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University. While attending the university, Carolyn had an interest in practicing family law. Leading her to her future career path, she participated in a civil internship where she represented indigent clients in domestic violence and divorce cases.
In 1987, she was admitted to the Georgia Bar. Later in 1988, she was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in the family law section. During her stay in Florida, she completed the Florida Supreme Court course in family law mediation training and today is a member of the Florida Bar in the family law section.
